Evan and I went for a hike after supper, and ended up at the dry pond near our house. The dandelions have all gone to seed, making for some good dandelion-blowing :-)

An extremely strong thunderstorm brewed over northwest calgary on the evening of July 13. The sun was just beginning to set, and was lighting the clouds from the side. I was trying to get a good shot of this cloud from my bedroom window, when a plane suddenly appeared, looking as though it was trying to fly away from the cloud…
